Position: Global Liquid Bulk Petrochemicals Trader (can be located anywhere in the world but must be flexible to travel)
Experience: Ideal is about 5 years, but will consider all experience levels. Looking for someone that has experience trading petrochemicals and can take positions in the market and move product.
Territory: Trader is free to trade anywhere in the world. All trades should be run by company so that we can determine risks and perform the necessary due diligence with regard to credit and bank financing.
Products: Looking for someone that can bring some new products to company or increase our strength in products where we have no or very little presence. We already have traders that are very active in acetone, phenol, propylene trimmer, propylene tetramer, BPA, cyclohexane, benzene, and toluene. Most others are open.
About Company: Primary office is located on Wall Street in the heart of the world's trading markets. Company has 6 employees including the sole owner / shareholder, CEO, and primary trader. They also employ a CFO, 2 logistics / operations personnel, 1 in house trader working from the Wall Street office, and a HR Manager. The company has agents located throughout the world including Brazil, China, Korea, India, and Venezuela.
They were incorporated in March of 2000, and had it's most successful year since inception during 2008 with gross sales exceeding 110 million. The company expects 2009 to be very successful despite the current turmoil in world markets and credit. The company hired it's second logistics staff in October 2008 in order to assist with growing trade volume. They are now ready to expand it's internal trade staff. They are currently working with 3 prominent banks, providing ample lines of credit to support their traders. They have been developing new banking relationships and are looking to expand it's credit base.
The company provides a flexible and dynamic working environment. This individual should be highly self motivated with the ability to work independently, yet be an effective part of the team.
