General Job Description: This is a sales quota driven position, responsible for growing revenue within an assigned prospect base for one of my client’s most strategic offerings – operational outsourcing. Leverage and/or develop senior level relationships within banks and broker/dealers to sell them on the bundled technology and operational outsourcing solution. Qualify target clients, discover areas of opportunities for services and execute the sales strategy. Work with product sales and finance to negotiate contract terms and close deals. Track and report status to management. Directs sales efforts from relationship management to contract negotiations and pricing to overall delivery of service. Preferred Qualifications: A B.S. in business or related field. An M.B.A. is a plus. 7+ years of successful sales or relationship management experience (to senior level executives in the financial services space). At least 5+ years experience in brokerage/financial services, preferably in selling clearing services. Must have excellent qualifying and negotiating skills, superior written and oral presentation skills. Requires someone who is self-directed and who is able to multi-task and manage time optimally. Requires an understanding of the back office function of the brokerage/financial services market. Accustomed to a process-based, consultative sales approach.
